Attention, Pokémon trainers and collectors! Mark your calendars for March 28th, 2024, because the next English Pokémon TCG set, “Scarlet & Violet: Journey Together,” is about to hit the shelves. If you’ve been yearning for a bit of nostalgia with a modern twist, you’re in for a treat – the beloved Owner’s Pokémon mechanic is making a grand comeback!
What’s the Buzz About “Journey Together”?
Based on Japan’s upcoming “Battle Partners” set (releasing January 24th), Journey Together is all about iconic partnerships. Think trainers and their trusty Pokémon sidekicks, just like in the good ol’ days. And yes, there’s more than just cards to be excited about: the Japanese set is coming with some drool-worthy card sleeves and deck boxes featuring Iono!
But wait, there’s more! Japan is also getting two preconstructed decks on February 21st:
- Starter Set ex Steven’s Beldum & Metagross ex
- Starter Set ex Marnie’s Morpeko & Grimmsnarl ex
These cards are expected to join the English release of Journey Together. That means we’re looking at some awesome cards featuring fan-favorite trainers like Lillie, Marnie, and N. If you caught the closing ceremonies of the recent Worlds event, you may have already seen sneak peeks of these beauties, including:
